My Story

My Sister and I will be taking part in this year's London Bridges Walk as part of #TeamKidney on Sunday 14 July 2024.

My son, Ari is 18 months old and was born with Posterior Urethral Valves which lead to his diagnosis of stage 5 kidney failure in the first few days of his life. He needs dialysis 4 days a week to keep him alive until he is big enough to recieve a transplant.

In the UK there are approximately 3.25 million people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD) stages 3-5 and a further 3.9 million people are estimated to have CKD stages 1-2, together that's a total of 7.2 million people living with kidney disease in the UK, thats more than 10% of the entire population, only research can change this.

Any donation big or small will mean the world to us! Thank you
